She might be busy filming her new TV show but Amy Childs still finds the time to go shopping for a new bed.

The Only Way Is Essex star was pictured trying out some mattresses at a Carpet Right in her hometown - but she made sure the cameras came too.

As she lazed around on a variety of beds, the redhead spoke to members of staff about which would be the best match for her bedroom.


Wearing a black fitted dress with a fur coat and pink stiletto heels, some might think that Amy was rather dressed up for the shopping trip, but she did have an excuse as she was filming for her new TV show, It's All About Amy.

The latest move for the 21-year-old comes after she left TOWIE to branch out on her own - and it seems she's already a hit with her hardcore fans.

Her Twitter followers were keen to tweet her yesterday saying how much they love the advert for her new Channel 5 programme.

But as well as shopping for new furniture, Amy was busy getting her other venture under way too.

The beautician is also opening up her own salon in Brentwood as part of her new show - and TOWIE fans will be pleased to know that her beauty speciality will definitely be on the price list.

During her time on TOWIE, Amy brought attention to the latest pampering craze sees women get decorative patterned stones stuck on down below.

The main aim of Amy's new show is to follow her around as she gets the beauty store ready for it's grand opening on November 22.

But fans will now wonder if she is going to feature beds in her salon after her shopping trip yesterday.

Perhaps she just thought that Carpet Right was a bit more of an exciting location than the builders site which is currently her salon, or maybe she is looking to impress a new man in her life.

Single Amy has been enjoying a new found fame since she took part in Celebrity Big Brother this Summer, but before that she was dating city broker, Joe Hurlock.

She also enjoyed romance with her TOWIE- co-star, Kirk Norcross, and has been linked to Peter Andre in the past.

However, for now it seems that Amy is concentrating on her post-TOWIE career, her business ventures and of course ensuring that she get's a good nights sleep.

What happened? Amy Childs sparked rumours of cosmetic enhancement as she appeared on Daybreak this morning


She's never been afraid of trying out new beauty treatments, and was even seen getting Botox during one episode of The Only Way Is Essex.

And it seems Amy Childs may have experimented with another procedure, judging by the reality star's appearance on ITV's Daybreak this morning.

The 21-year-old redhead sparked concern among fans with her noticeably fuller face and what appeared to be a slightly swollen top lip.

One viewer wrote on Twitter: 'Watching Amy Childs on @Daybreak and she looks different again! What has she had done now!'

While another tweeted: 'Has Amy Childs stopped with the fillers on her top lip? She looks different. #daybreak.'

Amy is no stranger to plastic surgery, having had her breasts enlarged in the past.

However, in an interview in August, Amy said she much prefers the 'natural' appearance, rather than looking like someone who has had surgery.

She said: 'I had my lips done a year ago but I wouldn't have them done again.

'I don't like to look too "done" - I prefer to be more natural. You can get addicted to surgery but I prefer the more natural look.'

Amy was on Daybreak to talk about her upcoming plans and to promote her new clothing range.

Wearing a red dress from the Amy Childs Collection, the former TOWIE star looked slender as she chatted to Kate Garraway and Dan Lobb about the range.

Amy, who will be unveiling the full collection at the Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model Live later today, said previously: 'I am so pleased with my new clothing range, the Amy Childs’ Collection - it has been a lifelong dream of mine.

'My passion has always been beauty and fashion so I have really enjoyed being involved in every aspect of the design process.

'I have made sure that there is something for everyone and I cannot wait to see people wearing the clothes from my collection.'

She admitted she was apprehensive about posing in her bikini but Amy Childs needn’t have worried.

The Celebrity Big Brother babe has showed off her fabulous figure in a series of shots for new! Magazine showing the two-week stint inside the house clearly hasn’t done her any harm.

The 21-year-old has revealed her curves in a sparkling gold two-piece as well as showing off her wild side in a leopard print mono-kini ensemble.


Before heading into the house there were concerns over her recent weight loss but Amy says she wasn’t worried about putting weight on inside the house.

She told the magazine: ‘No, not at all. I’m the same weight. Although I ate so much Haribo thanks to Jedward!’

While the reality star might have been disappointed about coming fourth in the show, not that she has shown it, she was pleased with what she found waiting for her outside the house.

The former TOWIE star was greeted by her ex-boyfriend and former co-star Kirk Norcross and the Essex babe has revealed she wished he had been inside the house with her.

She said: ‘If Kirk was in the house… I wish he had been. We have always been on and off. There’s loads of chemistry.

And while the former beautician has admitted she is jealous when Kirk gets with other girls she said she wasn’t sure she could have him as a boyfriend.

After admitting it would be hard because of his ex-girlfriend and TOWIE co-star Lauren Pope she said: ‘And he needs to grow up. He gets bored quickly and doesn’t last with a girlfriend. We tried and it didn’t work, but I’ll be honest with you, I’ll always have a soft spot for him.’

But Amy also hasn't ruled anything out with her most recent beau, Joe Hurlock, 24, who had planned to propose before the couple split before she entered the house.

She said: 'Never say never with Joe.'

Amy also says she doesn't have any regrets about leaving the show that made her famous and has spoken of her plans post-Big Brother.

She said: 'My manager’s got so much to talk to me about, from clothes and make-up deals, to TV projects.'
