Single mother Mariah Yeater has quietly dismissed her paternity suit against teenage pop star Justin Bieber.

The 20-year-old, who gave birth to son Tristyn four months ago, has apparently had a change of heart after filing legal action against the Canadian singer two weeks ago.

Her lawsuit seeking a paternity test and child support was withdrawn last week, according to TMZ.com.


Lance Rogers and Matt Pare, the two lawyers who were representing Yeater, have apparently resigned.

The withdrawal of the suit comes after Bieber not only said he would submit to a DNA test, but was also planning to sue Yeater for making a bogus claim.

Yeater shocked Bieber's legions of fans - and his girlfriend Selena Gomez - when she claimed he had fathered her son during a 30-second tryst in a bathroom after his concert at Los Angeles' Staples Center on October 25 last year.

In an interview on U.S. TV show The Insider last week, she claimed: 'He (Bieber) immediately took a liking to me and we just got to talking and then he eventually asked me, "Do you mind if we can go somewhere and be alone?

When she was quizzed over what evidence she has to support her claims, Yeater said she has provided some to her attorney but could not discuss it on camera.

She added: 'It'll show in court to prove that my allegations are true.'

The Insider confronted Yeater on a recent interview with a security guard who claims that on the night in question, Bieber's dressing room was full of friends and family, staying with the teenage heartthrob until he left.

Asked for her response on the guard's claims, Yeater said: 'No comment.'

The authenticity of Yeater's claims and her character were put under the microscope after photos of her stripping leaked online last week.

She was also arrested in 2010 for slapping an ex-boyfriend and charged with battery.

Bieber addressed the rumours on the U.S Today Show, saying: 'I would just like to say basically that none of those allegations are true.

'I know that I'm going to be a target but I'm never going to be a victim.

'I think it's crazy because every night after the show I'm gone, right from the stage to my car so it's crazy that some people want to make up such false allegations but to set the record straight, none of it is true.

'I've never met the woman.'

Teen pop star Justin Bieber seems to be getting sick of his super-stardom.

The 17-year-old had been enjoying a meal at Mr Chows in Knightsbridge, west London, with some of his team.

Upon leaving the restaurant he shocked his fans by giving the cameras a one-finger salute.


He didn't explain why he did it and it was not apparent what had angered him to make the offensive gesture.

Wearing his blue Golden State Warriors baseball cap low and pulling the collar of his cream jacket up over his mouth he clearly was in no mood to stop and talk.

This is the second time the Canadian has snapped after he swore at paparazzi in March last year.

Following a birthday dinner with girlfriend Selena Gomez in Beverley Hills he again gave them the finger.

Justin's trip to London was ended on the sour note after he had spent the day shopping in the capital.

He tweeted yesterday: 'Got some fresh gear in London Town'.

He also revealed that he had collaborated with the UK's Tinie Tempah on his track Drummer Boy.

Bieber said: 'Shooting this ITV Special for #UnderTheMistletoe here in London and u know I had to bring my guy @TinieTempah thru 4 a UK REMIX! #DrummerBoy (sic).'

The original version of Drummer Boy by Justin features U.S. heavyweight rapper Busta Rhymes but the Flipmode mc couldn't make it over for the TV performance and so Tinie filled his shoes.

The rude gesture to photographers was Bieber's last before he jetted off to Germany for an appearance on X Factor.

Ditched the old look: Justin Bieber has done away with his trademark haircut, and showed off a new style on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno yesterday


His swept-across fringe has been his trademark ever since he stormed onto the scene in 2009 with his debut single One Time.

But now it appears 17-year-old Justin Bieber has grown out of his signature style, as he debuted a new, spikier look on last night's Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

The teen superstar also took advantage of the opportunity to reveal all about his Christmas duet with Mariah Carey.

Justin teamed up with the iconic diva to revisit her Christmas Classic All I Want For Christmas Is You.

The song appears on Justin's first Christmas album, Under The Mistletoe, which is out today.

'Mariah Carey, she's super cool, It was cool because I got to do All I Want To For Christmas is You,' Justin enthused.

It wasn't all fun however, as it appears Mariah pulled some weight when it came to decisions about how they would record the number.

'It was tricky. She has super high notes, and it wasn't like she was going to change the key for me, so I had to go in and do her key,' Justin explained.

'It was really hard, but we had to make it happen.'

The singer is planning to donate an undisclosed proportion of proceeds from the album to charity.

'Universal, my label, has never actually given money from an album to charity, so for them to do that was really amazing,' he revealed.

Cheeky: Justin admitted that when he was pulled over for speeding he asked the officer 'do you like my car?'


'We have this Believe charity drive that I started for my Christmas album,' he continued.

The cause is especially close to his heart, as he explained: 'We give to this food bank called the House Of Blessing, where I got food from when I was growing up. I was less fortunate, I didn't have a lot, so we used to go there every Christmas.'

'My Mum used to do it and then come back, I didn't know she used to go to the food bank,' Justin said.

On a more lighthearted note, Justin went on to describe the best Christmas he can remember.

'On my greatest Christmas I got my first two-wheeler bike, which was red with a red bow on it. But there was a bunch of now and ice so I couldn't ride it, I had to just watch it until the snow went away. It was torture,' he said.

The teen also chatted about his infamous new 'Batmobile'- his new Cadillac, which has been painted black with Batman signs on it.

Asked whether he was into Batman for the comic books or the movies, a grinning Justin quipped: 'I like both, but I'm really into just the car.'

Justin admitted to a ticket for speeding, saying he wasn't going too fast, but he was 'in a construction zone.'

He recalled that when he was pulled over, the officer asked him 'Do you know why I've pulled you over?' to which he replied 'I don't know, do you like my car? That wasn't the right answer...'

To shrieks of glee from the audience, the star also described the occasion when he hired out the entire Staples centre to have dinner and then watch Titanic with Selena Gomez.

And finally on a more seasonal subject, Justin remembered the last time he celebrated Halloween as a 'normal' kid.

'I went trick or treating when I was 14, 15. I was a clown,' he said.

Justin Bieber has plenty of groupies, but his number one fan was on hand for kisses and hugs after his performance in Brazil last night.

The star raced straight into girlfriend Selena Gomez's arms after leaving the stage in Rio De Janeiro.

But despite having put on yet another bumper show, Justin, looked far more excited to be heading back to his hotel with the Disney favourite.


The pop star could not keep his hands off the Wizards of Waverly Place star as they zoomed off in a waiting car at the end of the night. At one point he leaned in for a kiss.

Bashful Selena, who wore a long grey dress kept her head down as she tried to avoid eye-contact with Justin's dedicated female fans as they headed to the car.

Justin has been struck with puppy love since hooking up with the 19-year-old last November.

He has even made comments about wanting to have a baby by the time he is in his mid-twenties, in a thinly-veiled hint to the Witches of Waverly Place star.

He said: 'I want to be a young dad, by 25 or 26 I want to see myself, like, married or start looking for a family.'

While his words might send the Beliebers - his army of loyal fans - into a frenzy, the person who should be excited is 19-year-old Selena, who Bieber calls 'amazing' in the interview.

It seems his hardcore fans can relax as he was quick to point out that they won't be getting married any time soon saying: 'One thing...I'm not looking to get married now.'

He also gave his Brazilian supporters something to smile about when he came out on his balcony and blew them kisses.

Perhaps though he was just practicing for when he got Selena in his car later in the evening.

Meanwhile it has emerged that Justin is hoping to conquer the Christmas charts by teaming up with festive single veteran Mariah Carey.

He finally revealed to his fans on Twitter that he will be collaborating with the Grammy-winning singer on his upcoming Christmas album Under the Mistletoe.

In a video message on Bieber's Twitter page, Mariah announced the collaboration and confirming they will be doing another version of her 1994 festive hit All I want for Christmas is you.

She said: 'I think a lot of you are already very surprised by this, and you're going to be even more surprised when you hear it.'

Mariah, 41, is the latest singer to collaborate with Justin on his Under the Mistletoe album.

Other high profile stars taking part include Bieber's mentor Usher, RnB legends Boys II Men, rapper Busta Rhymes and country outfit The Band Perry.

Justin is hoping to get the festive season started early this year, as the first single Mistletoe will be released on on October 18.

Day off from Justin? Selena Gomez takes a break from Bieber with a family trip to the Los Angeles Zoo

Look, no boyfriend! Selena Gomez seemed perfectly content to spare a Saturday apart from Justin Bieber as she enjoyed a relaxing trip to the Los Angeles Zoo with her family


The amorous young couple have barely been seen apart over the last few months.

But it seems Selena Gomez is occasionally able to tear herself away from her pop star beau Justin Bieber.

The 19-year-old actress and singer was spotted enjoying a relaxing day at Los Angeles Zoo with her family.


Both of Selena's divorced parents, Mandy Teefy and Ricardo Gomez accompanied the teen.

Mandy and Ricardo split up when Selena was five years old, but the threesome still get together to enjoy the occasional outing.

Selena looked perfectly relaxed with both of them, laughing with her father and engaging in what looked like some in-depth girl chat with her mother.

The family grabbed some refreshments at a Sweet Treats cafe and stopped to admire the giraffes as they enjoyed their drinks.

The Wizards Of Waverly place star looked casual in pale grey leggings and a grey stripy cardigan, but added an appropriate touch of fun by draping a purple monkey toy around her neck.

A tan leather handbag and black boots smartened up her ensemble, and teen kept her hair out of the way with a cute Alice band.

At one point Selena smiled for fans who spotted the incognito star by the chimpanzee pen, though her father looked rather less comfortable with the encounter.

Prior to her zoo excursion, Selena was reportedly also spotted with both of her parents breakfasting in a Los Angeles diner.

She was spotted outside texting at one point however, so perhaps absent Justin wasn't too far from her thoughts.

Selena has barely had time to catch breath recently in between romantic gestures made by the amorous teen.

The 17-year-old Somebody To Love singer surprised Selena with a private screening of Titanic at the 20,000 capacity Staples Centre in downtown Los Angeles.

Having sold out the venue three times, Justin didn't even have to pay for the hire.

According to TMZ, a source close to Bieber has said: 'Here's how it went down tonight ... Justin took Selena to the Demi Lovato concert at neighboring Nokia Theater.'

'He then said, "Come with me" and took her underground to Staples Center to watch the biggest shipwreck of all time.'.

Selena and Justin have been coined 'Brangelina 2,0' after Bieber posted a joke picture on his Instagram account of the two surrounded by toddlers.
