Surprise! Kourtney Kardashian has revealed she is pregnant with her second child


Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant with baby number two.

The 32-year-old reality star has revealed that she is just nine weeks into her second pregnancy.

Kourtney and partner Scott Disick, 28, already have a son Mason, who turns two on December 14.


In a statement to E! Kardashian said: 'Scott and I are so excited to announce that we are expecting our second child and are thrilled to be expanding the love in our family.'

Kourtney first revealed the news to this week's issue of Us Weekly.

The older sibling of Kim and Khloé told how she woke partner Scott up at seven o'clock after taking a positive pregnancy test to share the news.

And Kourtney was so excited, she couldn't wait the traditional amount of time before sharing it with the world.

'Now I'm nine weeks along,' Kardashian tells the magazine. 'You're supposed to wait 12 weeks to tell people, but I feel confident.'

In an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians in July, Kourtney was seen clashing with mother Kris Jenner after she mentioned that she and Scott were considering trying for another baby.

While their first child Mason was a happy surprise, the family matriarch is adamant that the couple should be married before thinking about expanding their family.

In the episode, Kourtney is insistent that she will marry if and when she chooses, and admits the reason she is hesitant to walk down the aisle is because she doesn't want her children to go through a parents' divorce they way she did as a child.

Kourtney and Scott have broken up a number of times over Kourtney's disapproval of her partner's hard partying and anger issues.

During their stint in Miami last year, Kourtney ordered Disick to leave her and their son alone after he turned violent and smashed a mirror, telling him 'I love Mason more than I love you.'

Scott has since worked out his issues and has said he has no problem marrying his long-time love.

He even proposed to an unimpressed Kourtney in the final episode of last season's Kourtney and Kim Take New York.

Turning down his offer of marriage during dinner on their four-and-a-half year anniversary in April, Kourtney asked, 'Things are so good right now, why would we want to change that?'

And headstrong Kourtney has clearly decided not to fulfill her mother's wishes to get married before falling pregnant again.

'It wasn't like we weren't trying,' Disick says. 'We kind of just said, "If it's meant to be, it'll be.'"

Another member of the family who may not be thrilled over the news is Kourtney's sister Kim.

The 30-year-old, who recently separated from husband Kris Humphries after just 72 days, said in a magazine interview this week that she feels her dreams of children may be dashed.

‘At first I was like, I want six kids. Then I went down to four, then I was down to three, and now I'm like, maybe I won't have any.’

Speaking on The Today Show last month, the 27-year-old admitted: 'It's so hard. I never knew about ovulation and the limited amount of time that you have to get pregnant.

'I never knew about that. No-one ever taught me that.'

Kim Kardashian may now be a married woman who wants children of her own, and today got a taste of parenting life on a family trip to an aquarium.

The 30-year-old reality star enjoyed some time away from New York City yesterday when she, sister Kourtney and nephew Mason Dash Disick took a field trip in Mystic, Connecticut.

From the sound of things, the brunette beauty had a fabulous time away from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan, though she may have not have been dressed entirely appropriately to play with marine animals.


She wore a floor-length, brightly-coloured paisley dress with a gaping neckline; a brown belt accentuated her tiny waist.

While her dress may have had a 'mystical' flair, her outrageously high heels must have made walking nearly impossible.

Still, the newlywed seemed to have had an amazing time, if her tweets were any indication.

'Drove out to Mystic, CT & took Masey to the Aquarium here! I love it here! We touched penguins, sharks, sea lions & even a whale!!!' she wrote.

She also tweeted a photo where she appeared to be ready to smooch a seahorse, writing: 'All I want for Christmas is a sea horse! I've always wanted one!'

Her older sister Kourtney also enjoyed the day, though she was dressed far more properly for the outing.

The 32-year-old wore comfortable yet chic black boots over black leggings. She also paired a floaty white blouse under a cropped blazer, a thick red necklace her only accessory.

Nearly two-year-old Mason was also fashion-friendly in adorable red booties, a green sweatshirt, white T-shirt and tiny blue jeans.

'Thanks for the memories Mystic, Connecticut! The aquarium and seaport were very special! @KimKardashian and I enjoyed,' the diminutive Kardashian tweeted of her day.

In addition to playing with seahorses, the trio got to see seals up close and even stroke 'Rocky' the Beluga whale.

After their adventure, they wandered over to a local toy store to check out Halloween goods before heading back to the Big Apple.

Most of his famous family have tried their hand at modelling, with the youngest Kardashians Kendall and Kylie set to take the modelling world by storm.

However 21-month-old Mason, the son of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, looked ready to give the girls a run for their money when he went to the park with his parents today.

He wore a checked baby Burberry jumper and some blue pinstripe trousers, along with a pair of tan leather moccasins, for the family day out.

He accessorised the adorable look with a pair of white-rimmed baby sunglasses, which he sported to cover up his recent injuries after a fall left the toddler with a bandage on his nose and one above his eyebrow.

Kourtney, 28, had something of an overreaction when she whisked son Mason off to a plastic surgeon after he bumped his nose.

And worried that he may injure himself further, she has since been seen carrying the energetic toddler around.

But today as they filmed an episode for Keeping Up With The Kardashians, stylish Mason was living the life of a normal toddler as he played in the park.

Kourtney and husband Scott, 28, took Mason for a stroll and the little boy appeared to be good as new as he raced his mother down a double slide in the playground.

Meanwhile his mother wore a casual ensemble of cream knitted jumper, black leggings and brown and black riding boots.

'Can they still hear us?': News anchor mocks the Kardashians on air just seconds after interviewing Kim and Kourtney

In a world stuffed full of sycophantic presenters, it's refreshing when one is brave enough to burst a celebrity balloon.

So when Mike Jerrick of Philadelphia's Fox 29 morning show, Good Day, decided to mock and mimic the Kardashian sisters live on air just moments after wrapping up an interview with them, his co-host couldn't stop laughing.

The TV frontman immediately ridiculed the sisters' high pitched voices and even joked about their shoulder pads after his live video link conversation with the reality stars.

After chatting with Kim, 30, and 32-year-old Kourtney Kardashian on the show, 61-year-old Jerrick couldn't contain his mirth.

As soon as they said their goodbyes to the Kardashians, who were promoting their Sears line at New York Fashion Week, his shoulders started shaking with laughter.
He asked co-host Sheinelle Jones: 'Can they still hear us?.'

Jerrick, who was the titular host on the Morning Show with Mike and Juliet until 2009, then proceeded to imitate the reality stars for their high-pitched voices and love of 80's style shoulder pads.

Jones half-heartedly attempted to defend the sisters, insisting through guffaws: 'I think they're stunning.'

But even she couldn't keep a straight face as her co-host continued to speak in a nasal Kardashian-esque voice.

Sears hopes that the Kardashians will help draw a younger, more image-conscious customer to the store.

John Goodman, executive vice president of apparel and home, told GMA: 'When you think of Sears you think of appliances, you think of tools. How do you get people's perception to change around clothing and apparel?

'That's where the girls are going to do an amazing job - bringing in a new audience.'

The line features designs inspired by the three sisters, including Khloe, 27, who was not interviewed by the show.
