That must chafe a bit! Lady Gaga struts her stuff in a tight leather playsuit as she films the video for new single Marry The Night

By Georgina Littlejohn

Leather Gaga: The singer was snapped filming the video for her new single Marry The Night in a strapless leather play suit in Harlem last night

In her new single she sings about throwing on some leather and going out and cruising the streets of New York.

And that's exactly what Lady Gaga decided to do as she filmed the video for her new song Marry The Night.

However, even though this is a woman who is not one to shy away from adoring herself in latex, we suspect that her choice of dancing attire may leave her feeling a little sore.

Put your paws up: Gaga throws her hands in the air as she struts her stuff

The singer was snapped strutting her stuff on the streets of New York last night in a tight leather playsuit.

The energetic dance routines, reminiscent of Michael Jackson's Thriller routine, could have left the Born This Way star feeling a little bit hot and sticky even with her resistance to chafing material.

Not that she looked as though she'd broken a sweat as she joined her backing dancers in Harlem to shoot scenes for the video.

Working it: She has admitted to not being the greatest dancer but Gaga looked more than comfortable in front of the cameras as she performed her routine

Her hair cropped short and bleached blonde, she teamed the leather playsuit with stiletto heels which she effortlessly danced on in the middle of the road.

Pouting in her blue lipstick, she was seen crouching on the floor and being lifted in the air by one of her male dancers.

Marry The Night is the fifth single from her second album Born This Way and is due for release next month.

Meanwhile, the singer will be celebrating today after she won an injunction at London's High Court to stop animated character Lady Goo Goo from releasing a single.

The character is a baby with a long blonde fringe from the Moshi Monsters online game, which is owned by UK firm Mind Candy.

It released The Moshi Dance on YouTube - which has since been taken down - and its full release has been stopped by Gaga.

The injunction ruled that Mind Candy could not promote, advertise, sell, distribute or make the Moshi Dance available to the public.

It was also prevented from doing the same with 'any musical work or video which purports to be performed by a character by the name of Lady Goo Goo, or which otherwise uses the name Lady Goo Goo or any variant thereon'.

Mind Candy said in a statement the ruling was 'a huge disappointment' and added that it was 'pretty obvious that kids will be able to tell the difference between the two characters'.

She's outdone herself: Lady Gaga makes a dress out of her fans faces and dubs it 'The Masterpiece'

By ALANAH ERIKSEN

Inspired: Lady Gaga wears a dress featuring pictures of her fans on it as part of her new video for the MAC Viva Glam campaign, which sees all profits from the range going towards aids awareness

She's always talking about how she'd be nowhere without her Little Monsters.

And Lady Gaga has found a way to wear her heart - or her fans - on her sleeve, quite literally.

The popstar has paid tribute to her followers in a dress featuring hundreds of their faces.

Role model: Gaga has been the face of the campaign for two years, following in the footsteps of Elton John Cyndi Lauper and Mary J. Blige

Dubbed The Masterpiece, the skimpy leotard and flowing train was created after thousands of fans sent in pictures of themselves to the star as part of her new video for the MAC Viva Glam campaign.

The project sees all profits from the lipstick range going towards aids awareness.

Your turn! The dress was designed by Gaga's fashion director, Nicola Formichetti, who the star is seen putting makeup on in an interview about the campaign

It was created by Gaga's resident stylist Nicola Formichetti, who is also the creative director for French designer Thierry Mugle.

He hand-picked the images which he printed on fabric the same colour as Gaga's new lipstick for the brand.

The fabric has also been wrapped around foot-tall platform heels.

In the new video in which she reveals the dress, several fans faces flash up on screen before Gaga is seen against a black backdrop swaying in her dress, with wind swirling it around her.

Her blonde hair is teased into a massive beehive bullet at the back of her hea.
In another promo video, Gaga lounges on a sofa with Nicola, playfully applying her lipstick to his smackers.

Big build up: The advertisement features several pictures sent in by fans before The Masterpiece is unveiled by Gaga

Gaga has helped raise $55million for the the MAC Aids Fund since joining in 2009 and hopes to reach its lifetime goat of $250million.

It has raised $225million to date.

She follows in the footsteps of Elton John, Cyndi Lauper and Mary J. Blige who have been spokespeople for the campaign.

Ricki Martin and Nicki Minaj will also join the project in February.

Caught in a new romance! Smiling Lady Gaga steps out with rarely-seen boyfriend Taylor Kinney

By ELEANOR GOWER

Red alert: Lady Gaga left her New York dance studio yesterday, closely followed by her boyfriend Taylor Kinney

She once famously had a number one hit song called Bad Romance.

But life clearly isn't imitating art for Lady Gaga and her new boyfriend, Taylor Kinney who are still going strong after several months of dating.

The 25-year-old star was spotted leaving her New York dance studio yesterday, closely followed by the 30-year-old actor.

Scarlet lady: Gaga wore a red hat, oversize red fluffy coat, cut off black tights and red platform shoes

But while Gaga wore one of her typically outlandish outfits, Taylor sported a casual ensemble of striped seater and jeans.

He seemed happy to take a back seat as the pop singer strode out of the Soho studio, wearing an oversize bright red fluffy jacket, footless black tights and a red hat.

Towering scarlet platform heels and Chanel sunglasses completed the look.

You & I: The Vampire Diaries star met Gaga on the set of her music video back in July and are said to have been dating ever since

The star held a long blonde hair extension which onlookers reported she gifted to one of the fans who was waiting for her outside.

Earlier, she had revealed a black and white dress underneath her coat.
She also, somewhat bizarrely, held a red telephone in her hand while posing for a picture with the group of fans.

Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, is said to have been dating Taylor since they met on the set of her music video for hit song You & I
