When news broke that Calvin Harris and Rihanna had recorded a track together the couple were warned that the single had better be good.

We Found Love has already reached number three on the US iTunes chart and it seems Rihanna is trying her hardest to make the video a hit too.

Rihanna, 23, flew to Bangor, County Down, Belfast, and today began filming the video for her collaboration with dance music producer Calvin Harris.


The young Bajan did her own version of the Irish jig by first dressing up in a see through black jumper and blue denim jeans that she wore with the flies undone.

After dancing around an American car in the middle of a field the Only Girl In The World singer changed into a red bikini and wore an over sized cowboy shirt.

Between filming Rihanna can be seen puffing away on a cigarette and and getting her hair and make up touched up by her crew.

She clearly didn't mind the mild Irish weather as she changed into yet another bikini and got dirty in the muddy field.

Earlier last week Rihanna posted a series of messages about her new song on Twitter to nearly 8 million followers before the track was given its first airplay on Thursday.

She Tweeted: 'Btw I just HAVE to say a special Thank You for aaalllll the #MAJAH support on my first single WE FOUND LOVE!!!Hear it on iTunes if u haven't.' (sic)

The song takes on a dance direction and follows a house riff that slowly builds up before the heavy beat drops.

The title, We Found Love, began trending on Twitter after Def Jam began a massive online campaign over two weeks ago.

Calvin Harris and Rihanna previously worked together when he warmed up for her during her Australian tour earlier this year.

Calvin also had a public argument with Riri's best friend, Katy Perry, after he pulled out of playing on her tour in March.

The 23-year-old was pictured picked up her friend in the water and cuddling up to another as they group sipped their cocktails as the sun set.

The 23-year-old star was sightseeing at a Brazilian chapel at the famous Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro.


It's not the first time the singing superstar has worn the offending necklace.

She was first spotted with the gold chain earlier this month during dinner at a restaurant in Los Angeles.

However, it is possibly the first time she was worn it into a place of worship.

She had a look around the store after seeing the famous statue, which looks out onto the city of Rio.

But nothing will keep Rihanna away from her fans. She is ready to entertain them at any time of the day, no matter what her appearance.

The Barbadian singer, 23, was given an early morning wake-up call by admirers outside her hotel in Brazil and she stepped out on to her balcony sporting huge bed hair.


In fact it seemed as if the singer hadn't even stopped to pick up a brush and was more than happy with her natural bouffant and make-up free face.

And given her flamboyant and suggestive outfits on stage, fans might be a little disappointed to learn that Rihanna’s bedtime attire is conservative in comparison.

Soon after the phrase was trending worldwide on social networking site Twitter.
