Mystery: The reasons behind Frankie Sandford checking into hospital are unknown
She has been absent from various public appearances her bandmates The Saturdays have been involved in in recent weeks.
And now fans of the band have been left worrying about Frankie Sandford's wellbeing following reports that she is being treated in hospital.
The reasons behind Frankie's reported admission to the hospital are unclear, although a spokesperson for the singer insisted the treatment she is receiving has nothing to do with drugs, alcohol or a cosmetic surgery procedure.
The 22-year-old singer has remained resolutely quiet on her condition, but did take to Twitter earlier this week to reassure fans that she is fine.
She wrote: 'Sorry I haven't tweeted in a while.I've not been very well.Miss u @MollieTheSats @unahealy @vanessawhite @RochelleTheSats I'll b back soon x'
In reply to Frankie's message, bandmate Mollie King replied: 'We miss you more!!! Come back soon pleeeeease my buddy!!! Mwah! Xxx'
And Rochelle Wiseman replied: 'Looking forward to having you back..big kisses from me and Tiger :)'
The girls have also been staying in touch with Frankie via video messaging service Skype, according to Mollie who tweeted fans she had been enjoying catching up with her bandmate.
Relaxed: In the last photo of Frankie on October 2, she looked happy and refreshed as she and boyfriend Wayne Bridge flew back from Iceland
The Saturdays were recently forced to deny reports they were splitting as fans began to get concerned over Frankie's whereabouts.
Rochelle said: 'No, we're not splitting. She's not very well and you can't even have a flu or a runny nose before people start saying you've left.
'In any other job if somebody had a few days when they were sick, nobody would say they've left. What are you supposed to do? You can't come to work if you're ill.'
Carrying on as normal: The rest of The Saturdays have been continuing their promotional duties without Frankie, but have been tweeting their get well wishes
Frankie was last seen in public on October 2, looking happy and refreshed as she arrived back in London with boyfriend Wayne Bridge after shooting The Saturdays' new video in Iceland.
Wearing a white vest top and jeans, Frankie smiled for photographers as she and footballer Wayne made their way home from the airport.
The Saturdays are due to release their new single My Heart Takes Over on November 13.
