Most amateur golfers would walk off the course happy with seeing one birdie a round but at Gleaneagles on Monday there were 122.
The 2011 Miss World contestants are visiting Scotland as part of a UK tour to celebrate the 60th birthday of the famous beauty pageant, and stopped off at the famous golfing destination to hone their games.
Gleneagles again hosted the European Tour's prestigious Johnnie Walker Championship back in August but, with respect to winner Thomas Bjorn, there was even more glitz and glamour on show here as the girls took to their driving range to practice their swings.

Miss Guatemala was a perfect example, with the lovely Lourdes Elisa Figueroa Araujo looking like she had borrowed a pair of trousers from the ever-colourful John Daly for her trip to the course.
Miss England Alize Lily Mounter and Miss Scotland Jennifer Reoch were among the British contestants taking part.

24 of the 122 contestants were also at the nearby Crieff Hydro hotel in Perthshire to compete in a Highland Games Challenge

The girls competed in traditional Scottish games as well as some rather more recent pastimes, including events such as tossing the caber, shot putt, farmyard dash and hurling the haggis.
The Miss World final takes place in Earls Court, London on Sunday, November 6.
