Back in the game: Cher Lloyd returned to the X Factor stage as guest star and performed her new single With Your Love
She may not have won the competition last year but last night Cher Lloyd returned to the X Factor stage and proved she's still got what it takes to be a star.
The 18-year-old was welcomed back to the show as a guest star where she sang her new single, With Your Love.
Cher made it to the final of the singing competition and has enjoyed a year of success since being voted off the show.
Tired but excited: The young star told X Factor host Dermot O'Leary that she couldn't remember the last time she had a 'good nights sleep'
Wearing a multi-coloured checked outfit that consisted of a matching top and tutu with a huge bow on the front, the brunette pop star looked a bit nervous to be back on the famous stage.
Finishing off her look with a pair of black and white platform brogues, white ankle sock and fuchsia pink lipstick, the kooky singer still enjoyed showing off her talent.
Sharing her limelight with a host of professional dancers, who wore similar outfits to her, Cher seemed overwhelmed when her performance was over.
Dancing and singing: The 18-year-old gave an energetic performance and was joined by many dancers who wore similar outfits to her
'I cant remember the last time I had a good nights sleep,' she told X Factor host, Dermot O'Leary.
'But I've worked hard and I'm hoping it's paid off,' she added.
Cher - who auditioned for the show two times previously before being accepted - was signed by Simon Cowell's record label, Syco Music after last year's show came to an end.
Her debut album, Sticks + Stones is set to be released next month and will certainly be a hit with Cher's loyal fans.

Glad to be back: The young star has already experienced her first number one with her debut single Swagger Jagger
She's already experienced her first number one with her debut single, Swagger Jagger, which she released in July this year and has collaborated with U.S. star, Mike Posner, on her second single which is available tomorrow.
Cher certainly caused controversy on last year's X Factor after her mentor at the time, Cheryl Cole, put her through to the live shows even though she forgot her lines during a crucial performance at judges' houses.
It was also revealed that during a sing off with fellow contestant, Mary Byrne, in the semi-final Cher had received the fewest public votes but was once again saved by the majority of the panel.
Monochrome: Cher changed into a black and white shirt dress and wedges as she left the studio
Loved up: Cher heads home with hairdresser boyfriend Craig Monk after appearing on ITV2 spin-off show Xtra Factor
Meanwhile, the Malvern teenager has admitted she has already moved in with hairdresser boyfriend Craig Monk, who she started dating in April.
The 18-year-old is convinced she's met her soulmate and she will end up marrying him one day.
She told the Sunday Mirror: 'We're living together, we're very settled. This is it. You won't ever hear of me having another boyfriend.
'My life is f**king sorted. It's cushty. I'm rubbing my hands like an emperor. I'm on top of the world. I hope one day we'll be married and having kids.'
